Dates for Hoi An Full Moon Festivals in 2017

Full Moon Nights in Hoi An

One of best moments to discover Hoi An is during Full Moon nights or Lantern festivals. The event is held  monthly on the 14th day of Lunar month.

Plenty festival games and activities take place in the old blocks where motorized vehicles are banned. Electricity is used for household devices only, not for neon lights. Instead, colorful candlelit lanterns will light up the ancient streets. The festival is centred in the area between Japanese Covered Bridge (Chua Cau) and An Hoi Bridge and stretch to surrounding streets and Hoai river banks.

If you are going to visit the ancient town in Vietnam, note down the 2017 calendar for Hoi An lantern festivals. There will be 13 full moon nights in Hoi An next year.
